#### 138 Inquiries and investigation 138 Inquiries and investigation > > (1) The Secretary may conduct inquiries and make investigations in relation to the matters to which a show cause notice relates and the submissions, if any, made by or on behalf of the person to whom the show cause notice relates in relation to those matters, as the Secretary thinks fit. > > > (2) Without limiting subsection (1), the Secretary may, if a show cause notice relates to a matter referred to in section 132 (1) (f), require the person concerned to be examined by a medical practitioner nominated by the Secretary.
