22 Controlled sports official registration—renewal (1) A registered controlled sports official may, before the official’s registration ends, apply to the registrar for renewal of the registration. (2) In deciding a renewal application, the registrar must consider— (a) whether the applicant has contravened this Act; and (b) anything else prescribed by regulation. (3) The registrar may, in writing, request an applicant to give the registrar stated information or documents that the registrar reasonably needs to decide the application. (4) The registrar need not decide an application unless the applicant complies with the request. Note The registrar’s decision to refuse to renew an official’s registration is a (a) tell the applicant the registrar’s decision under subsection (5); and
