4 Declaration—cleaning work

4 Declaration—cleaning work

For the Act, section 8(1)(d), the following work or activities are declared to be cleaning work—

(a) the collection or removal of rubbish on or adjacent to premises,

(b) the making of a bed, including stripping the bed, removing the linen and fitting the bed with fresh linen,

(c) the cleaning of a bathroom, including cleaning a toilet, bath, shower or washbasin and removing linen from a bathroom,

(d) the cleaning of kitchen appliances, kitchenware or tableware,

(e) the cleaning or dusting of surfaces, including floors.
