7 Term of licences generally—Act, s 24 (1) The maximum period for which a licence in the following construction occupations may be issued or renewed is 3 years: (a) builder; (b) electrician; (c) plumber; (d) drainer; (e) gasfitter; (f) gas appliance worker. (2) However, an applicant for the issue or renewal of the licence may apply for a 1-year licence and, if the applicant does apply, the maximum period for which the licence may be issued or renewed is 1 year.
