15 Corporations and partnerships eligible for some
occupations
(1) A corporation or partnership is eligible to be licensed only in the
following construction occupations or occupation classes:
(a) builder;
(b) building surveyor;
(c) drainer;
(d) electrician, electrical contractor class;
(e) gasfitter;
(f) plumber;
(g) plumbing plan certifier;
(h) works assessor.
(2) Also, a corporation or partnership is eligible to be licensed in a
construction occupation or occupation class only if the corporation or
partnership has a nominee who is licensed in the occupation or class.
(3) However, a partnership is not eligible to be licensed in a construction
occupation or occupation class if a partner has been found guilty,
whether in the ACT or anywhere else, of an offence involving fraud,
dishonesty or violence punishable by imprisonment for at least 1 year.
