sec.73 Entitlement to long service leave

If a registered worker has been credited with at least 2,555 days of service in the register of workers, the registered worker’s entitlement to long service leave is— for each period of 2,555 days of service—6.1 weeks; and for each day of service not included in a period of service under paragraph (a) —the proportion of 6.1 weeks that the number of days of service bears to 2,555 days. Long service leave does not include a public holiday that happens during the applicant’s long service leave.
