sec.55 Court order about application

If an entity contravenes subsection (2) or section 54 (1) , in addition to imposing a penalty, a court may order the entity to, within a stated time, apply to the authority in the way required by section 54 to become a registered employer. An entity against whom an order under subsection (1) has been made must comply with the order, unless the entity has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty for subsection (2) —40 penalty units.
