sec.47 Authority may register worker without application

The authority may, without application from an individual, decide to register the individual on the register of workers if— the authority has received information demonstrating the individual is, or was, a worker; and the authority is satisfied that the individual is, or was, a worker. If the authority decides to enter the individual’s name in the register the authority must give the individual an information notice for the decision stating the individual’s registration day and registration number. (sec.47-ssec.1) The authority may, without application from an individual, decide to register the individual on the register of workers if— the authority has received information demonstrating the individual is, or was, a worker; and the authority is satisfied that the individual is, or was, a worker. (sec.47-ssec.2) If the authority decides to enter the individual’s name in the register the authority must give the individual an information notice for the decision stating the individual’s registration day and registration number.

• (a) the authority has received information demonstrating the individual is, or was, a worker; and
• (b) the authority is satisfied that the individual is, or was, a worker.
