sec.28 Frequency of meetings
The chairperson may convene a board meeting as often as is necessary for the performance of the authority’s functions and the exercise of its powers under this Act. However, the chairperson must convene a board meeting if— the board has not met for a period of 3 months; or a director appointed under section 18 (1) (c) or (d) gives the chairperson a notice requesting a board meeting. (sec.28-ssec.1) The chairperson may convene a board meeting as often as is necessary for the performance of the authority’s functions and the exercise of its powers under this Act. (sec.28-ssec.2) However, the chairperson must convene a board meeting if— the board has not met for a period of 3 months; or a director appointed under section 18 (1) (c) or (d) gives the chairperson a notice requesting a board meeting.
- (a) the board has not met for a period of 3 months; or
- (b) a director appointed under section 18 (1) (c) or (d) gives the chairperson a notice requesting a board meeting.
