Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This short Act authorises Francis Heath Gallagher to hold and perform duties simultaneously as a member of the federal Coal Industry Tribunal and as a member of the Industrial Commission of New South Wales. It declares his NSW Commission service is not “outside employment” or “absence from duty” for his federal role, removing legal and administrative barriers to doing both jobs.
