##### 51 Power to require information etc. (1) An inspector who has entered premises for the purpose of making an inspection under paragraph 27(a) may, to the extent that it is reasonably necessary for that purpose to ascertain whether this Act, the regulations or orders or requirements made under this Act have been complied with, require a person to answer any questions put by the inspector and to produce any books, records or documents requested by the inspector. (2) An inspector is not entitled to make a requirement of a person under subsection (1) unless the inspector produces his or her written authorisation for inspection by the person.
