#### 74 Corporate membership 74 Corporate membership > > (1) Subject to a society’s rules, a body corporate may be a member of the society. > > > (2) A body corporate that is a member of a society may, by written notice given to the society, appoint an individual to represent it at meetings of members of the society. > > > (3) A person appointed under subsection (2)— > > > > > (a) is entitled— > > > > > > > (i) to receive notice of all meetings of members in the same way as a member of the society, and > > > > > > > (ii) to exercise the same rights of voting as a member of the society, and > > > > > (b) is eligible to be elected as a director of the society if— > > > > > > > (i) the body corporate holds the qualifications required for holding office as a director (other than qualifications about age and being an individual), and > > > > > > > (ii) a person has not been appointed as liquidator of the body corporate.
