#### 221 Proceedings for offences 221 Proceedings for offences > > (1) A proceeding for an offence against this Act may be brought by— > > > > > (a) the Registrar, or > > > > > (b) a person authorised in writing by the Registrar. > > > (2) A proceeding may be started within— > > > > > (a) for an alleged offence not punishable by imprisonment—2 years, and > > > > > (b) for an alleged offence punishable by imprisonment—5 years, > > > > after the alleged offence is committed or, with the consent of the Minister, at any later time.
