#### 86 Surrender of service approval 86 Surrender of service approval > > (1) An approved provider may surrender a service approval by written notice to the Regulatory Authority. > > > (2) The notice must specify a date on which the surrender is intended to take effect which must be— > > > > > (a) after the notice is given; and > > > > > (b) after the end of the period of notice required under subsection (3). > > > (3) The approved provider must notify the parents of children enrolled at the education and care service to which the approval relates and any associated children’s service of the intention to surrender the service approval, at least 14 days before the surrender is intended to take effect. > > > (4) If a service approval is surrendered, the approval is cancelled on the date specified in the notice.
