#### 5 Exempt premises 5 Exempt premises > > (1) The regulations may prescribe any class of premises as exempt premises for the purposes of this Act. > > > (2) The Minister may, by order published in the Gazette, declare any premises to be exempt premises for the purposes of specified provisions of this Act. > > > (3) A reference in this Act to exempt premises is a reference to— > > > > > (a) any premises belonging to a class of premises prescribed by the regulations as exempt premises, and > > > > > (b) in relation to any provision of this Act, any premises declared to be exempt premises for the purposes of that provision by an order of the Minister under this section, being an order that is in force.
