#### 296 Definitions 296 Definitions > In this Division— > > protected disclosure means a disclosure of information or provision of documents to the Regulatory Authority— > > > (a) pursuant to a request under this Law; or > > > (b) where the person making the disclosure has a reasonable belief that— > > > > > (i) an offence against this Law has been or is being committed; or > > > > > (ii) the safety, health or wellbeing of a child or children being educated and cared for by an education and care service is at risk; > > serious detrimental action includes dismissal, involuntary transfer, loss of promotion and demotion.
