> > (1) For the purposes of the National Law (NSW) Alignment Provisions, a reference in the National Law (NSW) to the Regulatory Authority is a reference to the Regulatory Authority for this jurisdiction.

> > Under section 9 of the [Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Act 2010](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2010-104), the Regulatory Authority for this jurisdiction is the Secretary of the Department of Education.

> > (2) The National Law (NSW) Alignment Provisions do not confer a power to grant provider approvals and service approvals in respect of State regulated education and care services, or confer any other functions with respect to those services, on the Regulatory Authority for another jurisdiction under the National Law (NSW).
