#### 84 Governor may make parole order 84 Governor may make parole order > > (1) The Governor may, in exercising the prerogative of mercy, make a parole order in respect of a juvenile offender. > > > (2) The parole order may be made whether or not the juvenile offender is eligible for release on parole. > > > (3) A juvenile offender may be released on parole in accordance with a parole order made by the Governor. > > > (4) The following provisions of this Part (the applied provisions) apply to a parole order made by the Governor in the same way as they apply to a parole order made by the Children’s Court— > > > > > (a) Division 1 (other than sections 41 and 42), > > > > > (b) Divisions 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 (other than sections 92 and 93). > > > (5) Except to the extent the Governor otherwise directs, the Children’s Court is to exercise functions under the applied provisions as if the parole order were a parole order made by the Children’s Court. > > > (6) The Governor may revoke or vary a direction given to the Children’s Court under this section. > > **s 84:** Ins 2017 No 57, Sch 2 \[3\].
