#### 12 Duly endorsed detention orders authorise conveyance and detention of persons subject to control 12 Duly endorsed detention orders authorise conveyance and detention of persons subject to control > > (1) A detention order with respect to a person is sufficient authority for— > > > > > (a) the conveyance of the person to, and > > > > > (b) the detention of the person in, > > > > the detention centre determined pursuant to section 11. > > > (2) A person subject to control shall, while being conveyed to a detention centre pursuant to a detention order, be deemed to be in lawful custody.
