Queensland regulation
Sets when parts of the Child Safe Organisations Regulation 2025 start and identifies which government bodies act as sector regulators for child safe entities. It affects sector regulators and organisations covered by the Child Safe Organisations Act by fixing a phased commencement timetable and listing regulators in Schedule 1 (sec.2, sec.3). The prescription is limited to each regulator’s area of responsibility, so who regulates which entities depends on Schedule 1 and the parent Act (sec.3).

This regulation may be cited as the Child Safe Organisations Regulation 2025 .
Part 2 and schedule 1 commence on 1 October 2025. Part 3 , divisions 1 and 2 commence on 1 January 2026. Part 3 , division 3 commences on 1 April 2026. Schedule 1 prescribes, for section 6 (a) (ii) of the Act , sector regulators for child safe entities. However, an entity is prescribed as a sector regulator for a child safe entity under subsection (1) only to the extent that the entity is responsible for regulating the child safe entity.
