sec.4 Purpose of this Act
The purpose of this Act is to safeguard children working in Queensland. This is to be achieved by— ensuring that work does not interfere with children’s schooling; and preventing children performing work that may be harmful to their health or safety or physical, mental, moral or social development. (sec.4-ssec.1) The purpose of this Act is to safeguard children working in Queensland.
