7 Meaning of death certificate—pt 2 death certificate means— (a) the notice of death of a deceased person issued under the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1997, section 35 (1); or (b) a certificate under the Coroners Act 1997, section 16 (Release of body); or (c) if a deceased person died outside of the Territory, a document that— (i) is issued or given under a law of the place where the person died; and (ii) corresponds to a notice mentioned in paragraph (a) or a certificate mentioned in paragraph (b).
