Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This instrument authorises Jetstar Airways to operate specific Airbus A320 aircraft with four cabin attendants instead of the usual complement. It affects the named airline and passengers on those A320s (max 180 seats).

The authorisation is conditional on safety controls: exit rows adjacent to the wings must be occupied by physically capable passengers, each such row must have at least two able-bodied people during take-off, landing and emergencies, and every occupant of those rows must receive a personal briefing on operating the exits.
