3/10 complexity

This instrument lets National Jet Express (Cobham Aviation Services Australia) operate certain BAe 146 and ERJ 190-100 LR aircraft with fewer cabin attendants than the usual Civil Aviation Order requires, substituting a minimum of one attendant per 50 passenger seats. It applies to charter and scheduled services and prohibits changes to emergency procedures or able-bodied passenger policies without CASA’s written approval. It replaced an earlier temporary direction (expired Jan 2018).
