Campbell  \nSafety Assurance Senior Manager  \nAviation Group\n\n10 February 2017\n\nDirection — number of cabin attendants (National Jet Express)\n\n1 Duration\n\nThis instrument:\n\n(a) commences on the day of registration; and\n\n(b) is repealed at the end of 31 January 2018.\n\n2 Repeal\n\nInstrument CASA 51/16 is repealed.\n\n3 Application\n\nThis instrument applies to National Jet Express Pty Ltd, ARN 580965, trading as Cobham Aviation Services Australia – Regional Services (National Jet Express), if it operates an aircraft mentioned in section 4 in charter, or regular public transport, operations.\n\n4 Aircraft\n\nThe aircraft are the following:\n\n(a) BAe 146 series aircraft with a type certificate data sheet that provides for a maximum seating capacity of 100 passengers;\n\n(b) ERJ 190-100 LR series aircraft with a type certificate data sheet that provides for a maximum seating capacity of 110 passengers.\n\n5 Directions\n\n(1)Subparagraph 6.1 (b) of Civil Aviation Order 20.16.3 does not apply to National Jet Express.\n\n(2)National Jet Express must assign for duty at least 1 cabin attendant for every 50 passenger seats or part of that number fitted to the aircraft mentioned in section 4.\n\n(3) These directions are subject to the condition in section 6.\n\n6 Condition\n\nNational Jet Express must not, without the prior written approval of CASA, revise any part of its operations manual relating to emergency procedures, including exits, or the procedures relating to able\\-bodied passengers.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"_metrics":{"model":"kimi-k2.5","source":"moonshot-batch","completionTokens":2693},"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The instrument maintains its original narrow scope: providing a specific cabin attendant ratio exemption for a single identified operator (National Jet Express) on two specified aircraft types.
