84A Power to investigate (1) This section applies if the CEO believes on reasonable grounds that a child who is in the CEO's care: (a) has suffered harm or exploitation while in the CEO's care; or
Care and Protection of Children Act 2007 51 (b) is suffering harm or exploitation; or (c) is likely to suffer harm or exploitation while in the CEO's care. (2) The CEO may initiate an investigation into the suspected or potential harm or exploitation.
