157 Persons whose consent is required (1) Consent of each of the following persons to the transfer is required: (a) if the CEO considers the child has sufficient maturity and understanding to give the consent – the child; (c) each person who has access to the child under the order. Care and Protection of Children Act 2007 99 (2) However, consent from a person mentioned in subsection (1)(b) or (c) is not required if: (a) the person cannot be found after a reasonable attempt has been made to find the person; or (b) the person is residing, or is about to reside, in the participating State. (3) In obtaining the consent of a person, the CEO must ensure the person is informed of: (a) the person's right to apply under section 159 for a review of the CEO's decision and the time within which the application may be made; and (b) the CEO's right to apply to the Court for an order for the transfer of the home order under section 160.
