121 Applying for protection order (1) The CEO may apply to the Court for a protection order for a child if the CEO reasonably believes: (i) is in need of protection; or (ii) would be in need of protection but for the fact that the child is currently in the CEO's care; and (b) the proposed order is: (i) appropriate; and (ii) the least intrusive means to safeguard the wellbeing of (2) The CEO may make the application: (a) whether or not the child is in the CEO's care; and (b) whether or not an application for a temporary protection order or assessment order for the child has been made; and (c) whether or not a temporary protection order or assessment order for the child is in force.
