#### 17 Determination of application (1) The Secretary must determine an application in accordance with this section. (2) The Secretary must: (a) if satisfied that an applicant is eligible for the BSWAT payment scheme—make a determination that the applicant is eligible for the scheme; and (b) if satisfied that an applicant is not eligible for the BSWAT payment scheme—make a determination that the applicant is not eligible for the scheme. (3) If a determination is made that an applicant is eligible for the BSWAT payment scheme, the Secretary must make a determination of the payment amount for the person. (4) Despite subsection (1), if the Secretary makes a request or requirement for further information or a document under section 68 or 69, a determination need not be made until the further information is given or the document produced.
