Commonwealth legislation
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This determination drew an explicit boundary (everything south of latitude 34.870957° S) in the Mildura/Sunraysia broadcast area and declared that zone a digital‑only local market from 4 May 2010.
Residents south of that line had to switch to a digital TV or set‑top box to receive free‑to‑air channels—it was the regional trigger in Australia’s staged analog‑to‑digital switchover.
