32Delegation

#### 32 Delegation (1) The Minister may, either generally or otherwise as provided in the instrument of delegation, by writing signed by him or her, delegate to an Officer of Customs within the meaning of the Customs Act 1901 or to a person appointed or engaged under the Public Service Act 1999 performing duty in the Department all or any of his or her powers under this Act or the regulations, other than this power of delegation. (2) A power so delegated, when exercised by the delegate, shall, for the purposes of this Act, be deemed to have been exercised by the Minister. (3) A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power by the Minister.
