#### 22 Appointment of authorised officers (1) The CEO may, by writing signed by him or her, appoint: (a) a specified officer; (b) the officer for the time being holding, or performing the duties of, a specified office; or (c) officers included in a specified class of officers; to be an authorised officer, or authorised officers, for the purposes of this Act. (2) In subsection (1), officer means an Officer of Customs within the meaning of the Customs Act 1901.
