24D Term of office of Board member (1) The Chairperson of the Board holds office until the Chairperson vacates the office of a member of the Council.
Part 3 Administration of Institute Division 3 Institute Advisory Board Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education Act 1999 20 (2) Each of the other members of the Board holds office for the period, not exceeding 3 years, specified in the instrument of appointment. (3) A member mentioned in subsection (2) cannot take office until the person's appointment takes effect: (a) on the date the Minister signs the instrument of appointment; or (b) on the later date specified in the instrument.
