3Interpretation

#### 3 Interpretation In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears: > appointed member means a member other than the Secretary of the Department. > Australia includes the external Territories. > Australian Sports Foundation means the company referred to in section 10. > Chairperson means the Chairperson of the Commission. > Commission means the Australian Sports Commission established by this Act. > Deputy Chairperson means the Deputy Chairperson of the Commission. > Director means the Director of the Institute. > Executive Director means the Executive Director of the Commission. > Finance Minister means the Minister administering the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013. > Institute means the Australian Institute of Sport referred to in section 9. > member means a member of the Commission and includes the Chairperson and the Deputy Chairperson.
