This Division applies where, in ASIC’s opinion, information about: (a) affairs of a body corporate; or (b) financial products; or (c) trust property acquired or disposed of by a trustee company; needs to be found out for the purposes of the exercise of any of ASIC’s powers under this Part but cannot be found out because a person has failed to comply with a requirement made under this Part.
