7 Registration under section 19E of the Act
For the purposes of section 19E of the Act, a person is registered by the Minister: (a) making a record of the fact that the person is an Australian citizen by adoption in accordance with the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption or a bilateral arrangement; and (b) including the record on a data storage system kept by the Department.
