Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Act amends the 1958 Agricultural Colleges law to remove specified parcels from permanent reservation as State Agricultural College sites and reclassify them as unalienated Crown land to be dealt with under the Land Act 1958. It also permits the Governor in Council to allow construction of a road through certain college lands and requires the Surveyor‑General to amend the plan (s.5). It affects government land managers, prospective lessees/licensees and the Surveyor‑General because it shifts control and discretion over those parcels.
