27 Orders controlling or prohibiting agricultural spraying or use of chemical products
(1) The Minister, by order, may control or prohibit agricultural spraying for the purpose of protecting susceptible plants and stock, public health, the environment and trade.
(2) [Section 27 Subsection (2) amended by No. 8 of 2003, Sched. 2, Applied:15 Oct 2003] Before making an order under subsection (1) , the Minister must consult with the Minister administering the Food Act 2003 and the Minister administering the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 .
