#### 17 General savings 17 General savings > > (1) If anything done or commenced under another Act in relation to an abolished body before the abolition of that body and still having effect or not completed immediately before that abolition could have been done or commenced under that Act (as amended by the relevant amending Schedule) or this Act if the relevant amending Schedule or this Act had been in force when the thing was done or commenced: > > > > > (a) the thing done continues to have effect, or > > > > > (b) the thing commenced may be completed, as if it had been done or commenced under the other Act (as amended) or this Act. > > > (2) This clause is subject to any express provision of this Act on the matter.
