Applicability: All model S-76A Helicopters fitted with main rotor blades prior to S/N A086-01461. Requirement: Sikorsky Alert S.B. 76-65-36. Amdt 1.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, as detailed in the requirement document.
Background: 1. The manufacturer has advised that an operator has experienced the loss of a main rotor blade tip block.
- This Directive is amended to include an amendment to the Requirement Document, the intent of which results in changes to certain inspection criteria and the addition of a calendar compliance time.
