Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

What this is: A safety rule for owners and operators of PZL M18 Dromader aircraft (agricultural planes made in Poland).

What it requires: Operators must inspect, modify, and retire (replace) airframe parts according to two specific manufacturer instructions: Mandatory Service Bulletin (MSB) E/02.142/91 and its supplement MSB E/02.152/94. Think of these as the manufacturer's official repair manuals for aging aircraft.

Why it matters: Following these updated instructions extends the plane's legal flying life from 5,000 to 6,000 hours. This prevents metal fatigue and structural failures in these workhorse agricultural aircraft as they age.

Who is affected: Anyone operating PZL M18 Dromader series aeroplanes must comply with the maintenance schedules set out in the referenced bulletins.
