| Background: | This unique Australian AD issued in 1987 required inspection of the stabilator attachment fittings at intervals not exceeding one year in accordance with Piper SB No. 856. The CASA Maintenance Schedule requires inspection of empennage to fuselage attachments, and surrounding structure. This inspection no longer justifies an AD. |
