| Background: | This Directive was issued in 1971 based on Piper Service Bulletin No. 199. This called for inspection of the stabilator tab horn at each daily inspection until the aircraft was modified in accordance with SB No. 199A. As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified long ago, this AD is no longer required. |
