| Background: | This Directive was based on FAA AD 57-21-01 and SB No. 159. It called for a once-only inspection of the rudder trim tab control rod. The FAA AD and SB were issued in 1957, so all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago. Hence, this AD is no longer required. |
