| Background: | This Directive specified a brace kit to be installed on the nose wheel mount in accordance with Piper SL No. 180. This Directive was not based on a USA Directive. As this Directive and SL No. 180 have been in force since 1951, all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago. Hence, this AD is no longer required. |
