Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This is a mandatory safety notice (called an Airworthiness Directive) issued by the aviation regulator for owners and operators of Partenavia P68 series aircraft.

What it requires: The directive orders a specific electrical inspection to verify that three important circuit breakers are working correctly:

The breaker labeled "BATTERY" must actually disconnect the battery from the electrical system
The breakers labeled "LH ALTERNATOR" and "RH ALTERNATOR" must disconnect the correct left and right alternators (generators that charge the aircraft's electrical system)

What happens if they fail: If any of these checks reveal the circuit breakers aren't working properly, the owner must repair or replace them immediately.

Why it matters: Faulty circuit breakers can fail to isolate electrical faults, potentially causing fires, battery drain, or complete electrical system failure during flight. This rule ensures basic electrical safety protections are functional.
