What this requires

This directive mandates a safety inspection of the control wheel rod (the mechanical linkage connecting the pilot's control wheel to the aircraft's steering mechanisms) for specific Morava aircraft models.

Who must comply

Owners and operators of Morava L200A and L200D model aeroplanes.

What you must do

Before obtaining a Certificate of Airworthiness (the legal document required before an aircraft can fly), you must have the control wheel rod inspected in accordance with the technical procedures outlined in Omnipol Service Bulletin No. L200/16.

Why this matters

This ensures potential defects or wear in this critical flight control component are identified and rectified before the aircraft is certified as safe to operate.
