Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Requires all Jetstream 3200 aircraft owners/operators to replace left and right fuel-tank wiring harnesses and inspect and, if necessary, repair boost-pump wiring, following BAe Systems Service Bulletin 28-JM8226 (Requirement; Applicability). Compliance must be completed by 31 August 2003; the AD was issued under CAR 1998 subregulation 39.1(1) and is effective 8 August 2002 (Compliance; Effective date). This shifts the direct cost and maintenance burden to operators and mandates work to follow the manufacturer’s service instructions.
