Applicability:	All Model 3100 Series aircraft.
Requirement:	1. Establish whether a 31-5179-1 baggage pod is fitted to the aircraft, or is held in storage.2. Modify affected pods in accordance with BAe Systems Service Bulletin 25-JK12199 Rev 0, or later EASA approved revision; or remove from service until modified.Note: EASA AD 2006-0341 refers.
Compliance:	1. From the effective date of this Directive, unless already accomplished.2. Before 31 July 2007.
	This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 15 February 2007.
Background:	An earlier design standard of the baggage pod is not equipped with a restraint net. If the baggage pod door inadvertently opens during flight, the possibility exists that baggage pod contents may fall out and injure persons or damage property.
