Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of British Aerospace BAe 125 aircraft to carry out mandated maintenance on the fire extinguisher system per British Aerospace Service Bulletin 26-31.

Specifically, operators must inspect and secure electrical connections and apply the required wire-locking so the extinguisher will activate in an emergency. Actions were required by 31 October 1991; the rule adopts a UK CAA safety bulletin as mandatory under Australian law.
